A student award is being established to honour the memory of Elizabeth (Liz) MacDougall, Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program (SCBScN) faculty at Regina campus.

Liz was a longstanding employee at Sask Polytech, beginning her career with the institution in 2009. Liz was a wonderful nurse, educator, mother, wife, daughter and friend to many. Liz had a passion for maternal health nursing and spent most of her career caring for babies and their families. She was a generous soul who we will miss dearly. We will miss her smile, her kindness and her sense of humour, amongst the many amazing qualities she shared with us.

The Elizabeth (Liz) MacDougall Memorial Award will support students enrolled in the SCBScN program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina campus who are passionate about a career in maternal health.
